At GCBC we believe the call to missions is a call for every follower of Jesus.  It is for students, business people, soccer moms, church planters, grandmothers, lawyers, pastors, baristas, contractors -- it is for the entirety of the church.  The movement of God's mission sweeps across everyday,  ordinary lives.  We believe that every Sunday we gather, we are commissioning God's people to leave to the weekly mission trip He has designed for each one of us.

Naturally, then, Mission and Outreach efforts at GCBC center on and around the gospel and the Great Commission found in Matthew 28 lived out between Sundays.  Our desire is to see disciples of Jesus made among all the nations and best centered within the local church.  So, additionally, we want to see a church planting movement happen as a result of what God is doing to us.  The impact of the gospel should also hugely affect the city,  too. In Jeremiah 28,  God instructs His exiled people to seek the welfare of teh city as especially seen in Jesus' own compassion filled mission.  So we want to see a movement that not only plants churches but also impacts the city for the better.
