Student Ministry at GCBC involves leading students who are in the 7th – 12th grade and their families to magnify God by making disciples who reach the nations. This vision is about cultivating a community where students learn to exalt the name of Jesus in our city, nation, and world while equipping families for discipleship and growth as committed followers of Jesus Christ. It is not uncommon to see students leading in our morning worship gathering and mentoring 4th - 6th grade students in the Children’s Ministry. We believe that students are not only the church of tomorrow but are also integral to the functioning of the church today, too. We want to equip and release young men and women to their appropriate place in the life of our church fellowship.
Students meet and gather on Sunday Mornings with the church family, on Sunday nights in a special Care Group designed for students, and then periodically through the year in special times to help build community and encourage each other in their Christian walk.
